Family Promise
The mission at Family Promise is to help families
experiencing homelessness and low-income families
achieve sustainable independence through a community-
based response. Family Promise was launched in White
County in June of 2013. Faith began our relationship
with Family promise in February of 2014. We provided
meals and overnight support to a local church and began
hosting families at our own Fellowship Hall in October
of 2016. Our support of Family Promise continues to
this day. Currently, we are a “supporting congregation”
and play a vital role in the local area by providing
essential supplies, generous financial contributions,
and delivery of weekly meals 4 times per year directly
to the Family Promise House in Cleveland. This helps to
sustain local families facing homelessness so they can
work towards sustainable independence. More than 88% of
families in the Cleveland Family Promise House shelter
program secure housing because of community support.
